Scoring goals in the Saudi League is more difficult than in the Spanish League

The captain of the Saudi Al-Nasr team, the Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, said that scoring goals in the Saudi League is much more difficult than the Spanish League, due to the strength of the collisions and the difference in weather conditions between Europe and the Gulf region.

Ronaldo confirmed in the second part of his interview with British journalist Piers Morgan: “Anyone who has not played here (Saudi Arabia) knows nothing. Playing in temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, and scoring goals in Saudi Arabia is much more difficult than in Spain.”

He added, “Goals scored in the Saudi League must be counted in the global Golden Shoe race.”

He explained that the Saudi league is better than its Portuguese counterpart, and it has many international players.
