Temporary closure of Airport Road opposite Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 tomorrow and the day after

Today, the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced the temporary closure of Airport Road opposite Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 on Saturday and Sunday.

The Authority said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “The Roads and Transport Authority informs you of the temporary closure of Airport Street opposite Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 for those heading to the Deira area on Saturday, November 8 at 2:30 am, and towards Al Khawaneej on Sunday, November 9 at 2:30 am, coinciding with the implementation of the expansion works at the entrance to Dubai International Airport Terminal 1.”

She added, “To ensure your smooth transportation and arrival without any delay, please plan your trips in advance, follow the directional signs, and use the side roads within the Al Garhoud area to reach the airport.”
