National Elections: The end of the first day’s voting in the parliamentary elections in 31 locations abroad
The director of the executive branch of the National Elections Authority, Counselor Ahmed Bandari, confirmed that the last headquarters was opened in Los Angeles to carry out the work of voting for Egyptians abroad on the first day in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, indicating that voting work has ended in 31 headquarters, while the remaining 108 headquarters are continuing their work.
This came at the beginning of his speech during the press conference he held today in the central operations room of the National Elections Authority; To follow up on the voting activities of Egyptians abroad.
The ambassadors appreciated the heads of electoral committees abroad and the technical support role of the National Elections Authority. To facilitate the work of diplomatic missions; Which reflected positively on enabling citizens residing abroad to cast their votes smoothly.
Chancellor Bandary stressed that the head of the diplomatic mission supervising the voting committees for Egyptians abroad has the right to continue enabling citizens residing within the precincts of the electoral headquarters to cast their votes, once the authority is notified of the existing numerical densities.
At the conclusion of the conference, Counselor Ahmed Bandary thanked the heads of the diplomatic missions for the efforts they undertake. A national role, expressing his pride in the cooperation between the National Elections Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in managing the electoral process abroad.
