"National elections": The House of Representatives elections in 16 committees abroad have ended

Counsel Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Branch of the National Elections Authority, announced the end of the second and final election day in 16 polling committees inside the Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad in the first phase of the House of Representatives elections, indicating that these committees have already begun the work of counting the voters’ votes, counting them numerically, and monitoring the numbers and number of votes obtained by each candidate and electoral list.
The director of the executive branch of the National Elections Authority confirmed that the authority did not detect any violations or problems hindering voting operations over the two days of voting, noting that in countries that witnessed a large turnout by the electorate to cast their votes in the elections, work was organized in a way that facilitates voting operations and accelerates their pace to spare voters as much hardship as possible.
Counselor Bandari appreciated the effort made by the heads of Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad, including ambassadors and consuls, and their great cooperation with the National Elections Authority in order to make the electoral process a success and facilitate the citizens’ ability to cast their votes. He added that at the end of the second electoral day in each committee within the Egyptian embassies and consulates at nine o’clock in the evening, according to the local time of each country, the vote counting and numerical counting processes will begin immediately, and those numbers will be entered into the electronic program specially prepared for this matter by the National Elections Authority..
