Mansoura University organizes the fourteenth conference of the Department of Neurology
Dr. Hossam Salah, Dean of the Kasr Al-Aini Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University, confirmed his participation in the activities of the fourteenth conference of the Department of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine – Mansoura University, which was held with the participation of a group of senior professors and specialists from various Egyptian universities, scientific societies and medical bodies.
Dr. explained. Salah, in his statements, said that his participation came in response to the invitation of Dr. Ibrahim Minshawi, Head of the Neurology Department at the Faculty of Medicine – Mansoura University, praising its continuous efforts and achievements over the past six years, which contributed to developing the department and enhancing its academic and research standing, to become one of the distinguished models in specialized medical education at the level of Egyptian medical colleges.
The Dean of Kasr Al-Aini Medicine indicated that the conference witnessed a wide attendance of professors of neurology from various Egyptian universities, explaining that he met during the events with Dr. El-Shaarawy Kamal Moussa, Executive Director of Mansoura University Hospitals, and Dr. Hatem Samir, Secretary General of the Society of Neuropsychiatry and Neurosurgery, and Dr. Khaled Salam, Treasurer of the Society, stressed that the conference provided a rich scientific platform for knowledge exchange and discussion of the latest developments in this delicate specialty.
He added that the conference program included specialized scientific sessions that discussed various topics, most notably a session entitled “Stroke and its Challenges,” where the session discussed the latest methods of early diagnosis, treatment and care, in addition to scientific procedures that It contributes to reducing complications resulting from stroke, stressing that the exchange of practical experiences between the participating doctors contributed to enriching scientific dialogue and enhancing practical applications in hospitals and medical centers.
Dr. explained. Hossam Salah said that honoring him during the conference activities was a source of great pride and honor for him, noting that this honor reflects the depth of scientific and academic cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine of Kasr Al-Aini and the Faculty of Medicine of Mansoura, and confirms their pioneering role as two essential partners in developing the medical system in Egypt, whether in the field of medical education, scientific research, or advanced health services.
At the conclusion of his statements, the Dean of Kasr Al-Aini Medicine expressed his deep appreciation for the work team of the Faculty of Medicine of Mansoura and those in charge of organizing the conference, stressing His aspiration is for the continuation of strategic cooperation between the two universities during the next stage, which will contribute to raising the efficiency of medical services, enhancing research capabilities, and achieving a broader positive impact on patients and society, in line with Egypt’s leading position in the field of neurology.
