The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” reported that the two sides reviewed, during the meeting today in Ramallah, developments in the West Bank in light of the continued attacks by the occupation forces and daily incursions into Palestinian areas, settler attacks on Palestinian villages and towns, and the continued occupation of camps in the northern West Bank, in addition to the continued withholding of tax revenues. The Palestinian Prime Minister stressed that the priority is to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, bring in aid, and intensify emergency relief and recovery efforts, in preparation for comprehensive reconstruction, stressing that any solution in the Gaza Strip must be based on the two-state solution, the full jurisdiction of the State of Palestine in the Strip, and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination in their independent state.
