المملكة: Urgent: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques calls for rain prayer to be held throughout the Kingdom next Thursday


The Royal Court issued the following statement: "Statement from the Royal Court" Following the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, to perform the prayer for rain, he called The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect and preserve him – to establish Prayer for rainthroughout the Kingdom on Thursday, the 22nd of the month of Jumada al-Awwal, 1447 AH, according to the Umm al-Qura calendar. Everyone must repent and ask for forgiveness, return to God Almighty, be kind to His servants, and increase the voluntary acts of obedience such as alms, prayers, and remembrances, and make it easy for the servants of God and relieve their distress. Perhaps God will relieve us and facilitate for us what we hope for.

The statement continued: Every capable person should strive to perform the prayer, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and showing his lack of God Almighty, while being persistent in supplication, for God loves His servants to supplicate a lot and be persistent in it.

He concluded: We ask God Almighty to have mercy on the country and the servants, to respond to the supplication of His servants, and to make what He sends down a mercy for them and an enjoyment for a while. He is the Hearer and Answerer, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
