"Bridge Alliance" It brings together leaders, media makers and entrepreneurs to empower the future of media, content and entertainment globally

Abu Dhabi, 12 November / WAM / The Bridge Alliance, the first independent international organization of its kind, was launched to bring together under its umbrella decision makers, business leaders, and leaders in the media, communication, technology and creative economy sectors, with the aim of developing the global media, content and entertainment system, accelerating the pace of investment in it, promoting inclusion and innovation, and building a more sustainable and future-ready system.
Based on its headquarters in the United Arab Emirates, which has always been a crossroads of cultures, economies and ideas, the Bridge Alliance seeks to achieve a positive global impact, as an independent, purposeful organization that works to build a global framework that is more interconnected, flexible and committed to professional values in the media, content and entertainment sectors, and embodies the principles of cooperation and responsibility.
The Alliance reinvests its surplus operations in supporting research, building capabilities, and enhancing cross-sector cooperation, ensuring that every achievement is transformed into a new step towards innovation, inclusion, and sustainable growth in the global media, content, and entertainment economy.
The Alliance is based in the United Arab Emirates, and its Board of Directors is chaired by His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, and includes an elite group of prominent figures in the fields of politics, economics and media, including: Her Royal Highness Princess Lamia bint Majid Al Saud, CEO of Rotana Media Group and Secretary General of the Alwaleed Philanthropies Foundation; His Excellency Macky Sall, former President of the Republic of Senegal; His Excellency Dr. Jamal Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Jessica Sibley, CEO of Time magazine; Janet Young, former president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; Dr. Julie Gichuru, CEO of the African Dialogue and Leadership Institute; Daniel Shuleko, CEO of Yango Group; Sanford Kleiman, founder of Entertainment Media Ventures; Strategic Advisor Richard Attias; And Maryam bin Fahd, Executive Director of the Alliance.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Hamed said that the “Bridge” alliance represents a humanitarian and economic project launched to reformulate the relationship between media, society and the economy, stressing that the alliance “embodies a global system based on cooperation, innovation and shared responsibility, where experiences are transformed into impact, and partnerships into real development, to build bridges of understanding, influence and growth between nations.”
His Excellency added that the Alliance operates as an independent and purposeful organization that reinvests its operating surpluses in supporting scientific research, building capabilities, and promoting innovation, to enable the effective transfer of ideas, talents, and capital between different sectors.
The alliance’s first initiatives come at the Bridge Summit 2025, which will be held in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from December 8 to 10, with the participation of more than 60,000 people, 400 speakers, and 300 exhibitors from around the world.
The summit will be held in seven main tracks, including: media, the creative economy, music, games, technology, marketing, and the image industry (films), with the aim of transforming dialogue into actual partnerships and investments that enhance access to the global creative economy.
The Bridge Alliance is launched as a permanent global platform for cooperation and innovation in the media, content and entertainment sectors, contributing to building responsible and sustainable media that connects cultures and turns creativity into a force for development and human understanding.
