Algerian Minister of Justice: Our country continues to consolidate justice and strengthen the judicial authority

Lotfi Boudjemaa, Minister of Justice of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, confirmed that his country has made great strides in reforming justice, enhancing the independence of the judiciary, and developing the legislative system to keep pace with modern changes, noting that Algeria is continuing to modernize the judicial facility and introduce digital technologies to consolidate the electronic litigation system and achieve timely justice.

 

This came in his speech before the closing session. For the forty-first session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, which was held today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, with the participation of Arab ministers of justice and heads of Arab delegations.

The Algerian minister said that the holding of this session comes in light of the continuing dangers and threats facing the Arab world at various levels, stressing that the current situations, despite their complexity, can be overcome through concerted efforts and unified visions in a way that serves the interest of joint Arab action in the legal and judicial fields.
