Dubai is following in the footsteps of Rashid bin Saeed towards strengthening global partnerships

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, said in a tweet on his official account on the “X” platform: “In 1963, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed took a bold step to expand Dubai’s network of international relations, through his first visit to the United States of America, which included New York and Washington… Sheikh Rashid, with the builder’s vision, was aware that the city he dreamed of would not flourish unless it opened up to the financial and business capitals around the world.

His Highness added: “Today, more than 6 decades after that visit, the emirate is proceeding on the same path under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, continuing to build bridges and strengthen global partnerships, as Dubai Chambers leads the largest economic delegation of its kind to New York, which includes more than 80 business leaders, company heads and government officials to participate in the Dubai Business Forum – USA… a new strategic station through which we advance our economic relations towards broader horizons of constructive cooperation in line with With the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”
