"President of the Senate" : "Criminal procedures" A historic legislative step that strengthens the building of a state of law and institutions

Counsel Essam  Farid, President of the Senate, appreciated the issuance of the Criminal Procedure Law after its ratification by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, stressing that this law represents a historic legislative step that strengthens the building of the state of law and institutions, and comes as an extension of   The path of comprehensive legislative development pursued by the Egyptian state.

 

The President of the Council stressed that the issuance of this law was not the result of coincidence, but rather was the result of an extended national effort in which all state institutions participated, along with civil society forces, through serious deliberations and in-depth studies, which ended in the formulation of robust, modern legislation that keeps pace with developments and meets the needs of the Egyptian judicial reality, while preserving the constitutional principles and established legal constants, as the heart seeks. From its provisions to achieve a balance between the requirements of justice and ensuring the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution for citizens.

 

Counsel “Farid” praised He praised the responsible legislative role played by the various concerned parties during the stages of preparing and reviewing the law, stressing that this legislative achievement reflects the strong political will to develop the justice system, achieve a balance between its requirements, and guarantee the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution to citizens.
