Al-Sadd Qatar signs veteran coach Mancini

The Qatari club Al-Sadd announced through its official account on “X” today, Thursday, the appointment of Italian coach Roberto Mancini as coach of the first team, succeeding the Spanish Felix Sanchez, who was dismissed from his position last October due to negative results.

Mancini had left coaching the Saudi national team in October 2024, after about one year without presenting the technical image expected at that time, even though he had previously led the Italian national team for five years, during which he led the “Azzurri” to win the 2021 European Nations Cup before resigning from his position in August 2023.
