An Egyptian player competes with Lamine Gamal and Declan Rice for an international award

Egyptian Zamalek player Amr Nasser is competing with 10 other players, most notably Lamine Gamal, Barcelona’s Spanish winger, and Declan Rice, Arsenal’s English midfielder, in the race to win the Puskas Award for the best goal in the world for the year 2025.
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced the final list of 11 goals nominated to win the award.
Nasser scored the goal with a scissor kick against Al-Ahly when he was defending the colors of Pharco Club, during the last season of the Egyptian Capital Cup.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah, the star of the English club Liverpool, previously won the award in 2018, when he scored a wonderful goal against Everton in the English Premier League.
