The Grand Mosque

The mosque is located in Bur Dubai near the Dubai Museum. It is one of the oldest mosques in the emirate, dating back to 1900. It has been rebuilt and expanded several times, most recently in 1998.
One of the most notable features of this mosque is its minaret, which is 70 meters high, making it the tallest minaret in Dubai. The mosque is distinguished by its spacious hall designated for prayer, which is decorated with Islamic decorations and carved wooden windows, in addition to the multiple domes that give it a special aesthetic character.

Al-Farouq Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque
Al-Farouq Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the country, is located in the Al-Safa area and is also known as the “Blue Mosque”. Its design mimics the famous Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Turkey, and combines Ottoman and Andalusian geometric shapes. It includes four towering minarets, 21 domes, 124 windows made of stained glass, and a traditional fountain. Al Salam Mosque
The mosque, which can accommodate up to 1,500 worshipers, includes several domes arranged in a pyramid-like style. It is characterized by crimson-red stones and golden domes, with white edges. Its design is inspired by Emirati traditions and Ottoman architecture. On its facade is the phrase Shahada, and it is decorated in green and gold in the evening.
The mosque, located in Al Barsha behind the Mall of the Emirates, does not open its doors to visits from non-Muslims.
Al-Rahim Mosque
The mosque was built in the marina area overlooking the creek. It includes a section for women. It is distinguished by its Islamic decorations and miniatures, especially the glass inlaid with the word “Allah.” Its walls are also inlaid with the Most Beautiful Names of God, and its interior columns are inscribed with “There is no god but God and Muhammad is the Messenger of God.” It is distinguished by a contemporary stone sculpture in its courtyard that reads “There is no god but God.”
The mosque can accommodate about 1,400 male and female worshipers, and includes a library and a school for teaching the Holy Qur’an. It does not open its doors to visits by non-Muslims.
Khalifa Al-Tajer Mosque
The first environmentally friendly mosque in the region, which can accommodate about 3,500 worshipers, and was built on an area of 105,000 square feet.
The mosque is located in the Dubai Creek area near the famous gold market in Deira. It was built using environmentally friendly materials, and includes solar panels and a temperature control system that adjusts the air conditioning process according to prayer times.
Al Noor Mosque
Al Noor Mosque is located in the Al Quoz district and reflects the modern architectural creativity of the Middle East. It includes a circular minaret and a simple and elegant dome.
It was classified among the best new buildings in the world in 2023, and can accommodate about 2,091 worshipers.
Zabeel Grand Mosque
The main mosque building contains beautiful Islamic designs, elements, and decorations. It has two minarets and consists of two floors: the ground floor includes spaces designated for men and the main courtyard leading to the main prayer hall with a capacity of three thousand worshipers, and the upper floor is designated for women with a capacity of 500 worshippers.
The mosque allocated special parking spaces for women, separate from the rest of the parking lots surrounding the mosque.
Abdul Rahman Siddiq Mosque
The design of the mosque in the Palm Jumeirah area was based on new contemporary ideas in mosque design using contemporary materials and a symbolic reference to both the minaret and the dome, and white and blue colored glass.
The mosque can accommodate 800 worshippers, and a women’s hall on the upper floor has a capacity of 100 worshippers. Visits from non-Muslims are not allowed.
The Grand Mosque in the Dubai International Financial Centre
It is characterized by a design that combines modernity and classicism. It has a sloping roof and does not contain a dome. Its minaret is not attached to it, and it allows light to reach its interior.
The mosque can accommodate 500 worshipers, and there is a hall designated for women inside it.
