Trump intends to demand "BBC" By compensating him with $5 billion
US President Donald Trumphe intends to sue the BBC "BBC" And its demand for compensation amounting to five billion dollars, despite the latter’s apology for a misleading synthesis of one of his speeches.

Financial compensation
Trump told reporters on Air Force One: "We’ll sue them for anything between $1 billion and $5 billion, probably sometime next week. I think I’ll have to do that."
The US President initially threatened to sue the group for $1 billion, a huge sum that represents 13% of its annual revenues, and is mainly funded by licensing fees paid by the public.
It testifies that "BBC" whose audience and reputation extend beyond the borders of the United Kingdom have taken a significant hit since last week it received a letter from Trump’s surrogates complaining that its prominent news program "panorama" Before the 2024 US presidential elections, he showed excerpts from a speech by the president on January 6, 2021, in which he seemed, through a synthesis of originally separate phrases, to explicitly call on his supporters to attack the Capitol building in Washington.
