Al-Dahrawi, President of the Karate Federation: The Egyptian state supports the organization of the World Championship
Mohamed El-Dahrawy, President of the Egyptian Karate Federation, confirmed that the support of the Egyptian state was a major reason for organizing the World Championship, which will be held at the end of this month in the indoor hall of the Cairo International Stadium.
He added that Egypt had the honor of organizing a major sporting event after an absence that lasted for many years, specifically since 1988, thanks to the support of the Egyptian state under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth, Sports and State Interest. in sports and urged them to hold tournaments in Egypt. Al-Dahrawi explained that the Federation promises to organize a tournament at the highest level and we will impress everyone through the organization, especially since the competitions will be in full view of everyone. He indicated that he has great confidence in the strength of the national team and its ability to provide the best performance and achieve results befitting Egypt’s status and name in the world of karate, especially in light of the global interest in the championship that returns to the embrace of Cairo after an absence of 40 years.
Al-Dahrawi concluded his statements by saying that the Federation has made comprehensive preparations that include infrastructure and halls. Sports and hotels to receive the participating countries, indicating that hosting the tournament is also an opportunity to market Egypt globally, by promoting the participating delegations and their visits to the Egyptian Museum, indicating cooperation with all ministries to support the success of the event. The tournament will be held from November 27 to 30, amid global anticipation for an exceptional edition that embodies Egypt’s status and its continued ability to organize the largest sporting events with the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Organizing this edition is a historic event, as the tournament returns to the African continent after an absence of four decades, thanks to the great efforts made by the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Karate Federation, headed by Mohamed El-Dahrawy, who succeeded in resolving the international file in favor of Egypt after strong competition with several advanced countries in the game.
