“CAF” shocks the Egyptian national team after announcing the shortlist for the best African teams
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced The shortlist of candidates for the award for the best team in Africa for the year 2025, which came as a shock to the Egyptian fans after the exclusion of the Egyptian national team despite its previous presence among the top 10 teams in the preliminary list.
The final list includes only three teams, which are: the Moroccan senior national team, the Moroccan youth national team, and the Cape Verde national team.
The Moroccan youth national team was recently crowned champion of the World Cup under 20 years after its victory in the final over the Argentine national team in the tournament held in Chile. The Pyramids club also continues to compete for the award for the best men’s club in the African continent.
The “CAF” awards ceremony is scheduled to be held Next November 19 in Rabat, Morocco, after the end of the international break.
