“A point” from Al-Nasr Stadium, “a gain”

Khor Fakkan striker, Abdullah Al-Naqbi, confirmed that his team played one of its best matches this season, after tying with Al-Nasr at Al Maktoum Stadium, in the 17th round of the Professional Football League, noting that getting a point from outside the field is a positive result against a strong competitor.

Al-Naqbi said in his statements after the match: “We showed a good level and played a great match, whether in attack or defense. A point from Al-Nasr Stadium is considered a gain for us, especially since the confrontation was difficult and of a high level.”

He added: “I thank my fellow players for the great effort. Everyone fought for the team, and the spirit was clear on the field. This point is very important for us in the rankings.”

Al-Naqbi stressed that the focus is now directed to the next match against Al-Ain, adding: “We have a more difficult confrontation against Al-Ain in the next round. We must quickly forget the Al-Nasr match and start preparing for what is coming. The performance was good, but we must continue to work until we achieve victories.”

The Khor Fakkan player concluded his statements, saying: “We hope to compensate in the coming rounds, and we can win if we maintain the same spirit and the same fight on the field.”
