Saudi Arabia and America… trade exchange exceeding 500 billion dollars in the last 10 years


Exceed size Trade exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Quality investments, and expanding the scope of trade cooperation to support the economic prosperity of the two countries.

In 2024, the volume of trade exchange amounted to about $33 billion, with fertilizers and organic chemical products being the most important Saudi exported goods.

Imported American goods

Boilers, machines, appliances, and mechanical tools, in addition to cars and their spare parts, were the most important imported American goods, with a total value of $9. Billions of dollars.

The trade exchange between the two countries until the first half of the year 2025 AD – according to preliminary data – amounted to about 16 billion dollars.

The Saudi-American Trade and Investment Council (TIFA), which is chaired by the General Authority for Foreign Trade, plays an important role in strengthening trade relations between the two countries.

Trade and Investment Flow

The Council aims to follow up trade and investment relations, identify opportunities to expand trade and investment, and work to remove obstacles that hinder Trade and investment flow, in addition to enhancing the commercial and investment work environment, and facilitating communication between sectors of the two countries.

The Council contributed to agreeing on 27 initiatives in various fields, including specifications and standards, food and medicine, artificial intelligence, and intellectual property. Its membership includes 11 Saudi government agencies that work to discuss trade and investment issues between the two countries according to a specific scope.

The General Authority for Foreign Trade works to develop bilateral trade relations through coordination councils and committees. Joint government, in addition to enabling the Kingdom’s non-oil exports to access foreign markets, and helping to overcome the various challenges it faces.
