The Governor of Qena witnesses the Directorate of Education’s celebration of childhood holidays

The Governor of Qena, Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, witnessed today, Tuesday, the celebration organized by the Directorate of Education at the Qena Culture Palace on the occasion of childhood holidays, in a festive atmosphere aimed at bringing joy to the souls of children and consolidating the values of belonging and loyalty among young people.

The celebration was attended by Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor, Hani Antar Al-Saber, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Qena, Somaya Abdel Fattah, Director General of Executive Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hafez, representative of the Ministry of Education. Endowments, Anwar Gamal, Director General of the Palace of Culture, Saeed Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Sherine Al-Amin, Director of the Organization and Administration Department, along with a number of executive and popular leaders and directors of educational departments.

 

The activities began with the Republican Anthem and then a blessed recitation by a student from Al Nour School for the Blind, in a scene that reflects support for the integration of students from different groups in educational and cultural activities. After that, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Qena gave a speech in which he stressed that Celebrating childhood holidays comes within the framework of the state’s continued interest in developing the child’s personality through artistic and cultural activities.

 

The ceremony witnessed the presentation of a group of diverse artistic performances that were creatively executed by school students, and included theatrical performances that expressed children’s dreams and positive values, in addition to singing performances by the Music Education Choir that embodied feelings of joy and belonging.

 

The students of Al Amal School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing also presented a distinctive performance that reflects the students’ abilities. People of determination and their insistence on participating in all activities.

 

For his part, the Governor of Qena, in his speech, expressed his happiness at participating in the celebration of childhood holidays, stressing that caring for children and providing care for them represents a real investment in the future of the nation, praising the efforts of the Directorate of Education in organizing interactive activities that contribute to refining children’s skills and discovering their talents from a young age.
