Strengthening the Kingdom’s position in artificial intelligence

Sadaya has employed all means to enhance the Kingdom’s position in the field of artificial intelligence, including organizing the global artificial intelligence summits in 3 previous editions, in which the world met in Riyadh to discuss the present and future of artificial intelligence technologies.
Observers are awaiting the fourth edition of the global artificial intelligence summit in September 2026, as major American technology companies participate in it, believing in its importance. In managing the file of artificial intelligence at the global level in light of the development the Kingdom is witnessing in this field, especially in leading modern trends in the world of artificial intelligence and raising the level of global awareness regarding the concept of these advanced technologies in order to achieve the good of all humanity.

A unified national data system

Since the establishment "Sdaya" In 2019, the Authority worked to build a unified national system for data and artificial intelligence, which includes governance, developing national capabilities, and providing a secure digital infrastructure, in addition to promoting responsible uses of advanced technologies.
At this stage, cooperation between the Kingdom and America emerged as a pioneering model in joint international action in the field of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence, especially with the acceleration of its developments and the spread of its applications around the world.
The Kingdom participates, represented by:"Sdaya" In global decision-making and enhancing international cooperation to ensure the safe use of data and artificial intelligence technologies in accordance with the best global practices, and the application of its ethics approved by UNESCO.
Also, raising the level of awareness regarding dealing with it, in cooperation with developed countries in this field, especially the United States of America, and strengthening the partnership between the two countries in making the Kingdom a pivotal global center for high-capacity data centers to serve the region and the world from the Kingdom.

Building an advanced Saudi system

and harnessing "Sdaya" Its national capabilities in data, innovation and foresight to build an advanced system in the field of artificial intelligence, based on a strong structure of research and development and capacity development programmes.
These efforts were strengthened by establishing broad partnerships with major international technology companies, most notably the advanced American companies in this field, which resulted in the signing of more than 29 memorandums of understanding, specific programs and initiatives with leading companies such as: NVIDIA, Microsoft, Apple, Intel, IBM, Oracle, Dell and others.
These partnerships provided an advanced model. To the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, as it contributed to building an integrated system for the knowledge economy through developing artificial intelligence solutions, establishing training academies, launching joint programs, and hosting cloud infrastructure.
This cooperation also contributed to enabling the Kingdom to participate effectively in formulating global governance frameworks for artificial intelligence, and enhancing its role in international efforts aimed at supporting the United Nations 2030 sustainable development goals, through developing policies and standards for the responsible use of advanced technologies in cooperation with countries of the world, including America, and exchanging experiences. between the two parties and cooperation in capacity building, talent support, and product development and technical services.
