The death of Osama Al Shafar, former president of the Emirates Cycling Federation

Osama Ahmed Al Shafar, President of the Asian Cycling Federation and former President of the UAE Cycling Federation, died after being involved in an accident outside the country.

Al Shafar assumed the presidency of the UAE Cycling Federation for eight years, during which the game witnessed significant development in terms of results, hosting and talent development, before continuing his continental career as President of the Asian Cycling Federation, and becoming one of the most prominent influential leadership figures in cycling at the regional and international levels.
