A just peace is the only way to achieve a secure future for Israel and the Palestinian people

Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Beata Meinl-Reisinger, welcomed the adoption by the UN Security Council of the American project regarding the Gaza Strip, and considered that the resolution opens the door to a stable ceasefire and provides greater protection for the residents of Gaza and concrete steps towards a transitional administration and international stability, according to the minister’s words.

Meinel-Reisinger said in a statement that the Security Council’s adoption of Trump’s peace plan in Gaza is a very good development, stressing that the window for achieving just and lasting peace is still open, and stressing that just and lasting peace is the only way to achieve a secure future for both the people of Israel and the Palestinian people.
