We want “peace and normalization” of relations with Lebanon

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said on Tuesday that his country wants “peace and normalization” of relations with Lebanon, ahead of direct talks between officials from the two countries in Washington.
Sa’ar said during a joint press conference with his Czech counterpart, Peter Makenga, “We want to reach peace and normalization with the state of Lebanon… There are no major differences between Israel and Lebanon. The problem is Hezbollah.”
Sa’ar believed that Lebanon was drawn into war in the Middle East after Hezbollah launched missiles towards Israel, which responded with a ground attack in parallel with air raids, the most violent of which was on April 8, when it carried out more than 100 raids on Beirut.
On the other hand, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar revealed, during a press conference with Deputy Prime Minister and Czech Foreign Minister Peter Masinka, today, Tuesday, that Israel may transfer part of its weapons manufacturing to the Czech Republic, according to Bloomberg News Agency.
Bloomberg News Agency quoted Saar as saying: “This is a good idea, and we will discuss it among other files during our next meeting in the Czech capital, Prague.”
The two ministers also signed an agreement to form a joint committee aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
