Women’s 3×3 team wins bronze at the Islamic Solidarity Games

Egypt’s 3×3 women’s basketball team, led by its technical director Ihab Al-Alfy, won the bronze medal in the Islamic Solidarity Games, hosted by the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The women’s team won bronze after defeating Iran with a score of 21-16 in the third and fourth place competitions.
Malak Hisham was the highest scorer for the national team against Iran. With 7 points, followed by Hala Shaarawy and Sandy Khaled with 6 points each, then Farida Massad with 2 points.
The women’s team lost 3×3 semi-final match to Azerbaijan, before winning the bronze medal at the expense of Iran.
The 3×3 men’s team is currently playing the gold medal match against Iran, after defeating Qatar with a score of 21-13 in the semi-final. The final.
The men’s team roster for the Islamic Solidarity Games includes: Ahmed Yasser, Mohab Yasser, Youssef Rifaat, Rami Ibrahim, and the technical staff is led by Captain Wissam Jaber.
While the women’s team roster includes: Farida Massad, Hala Shaarawi, Malak Hisham, Sandy Khaled, and the technical staff is led by Captain Ihab Al-Alfi.
