Islam pays special attention to children, and their care is a shared responsibility
The Ministry of Endowments celebrates International Children’s Day, which falls on the twentieth of November every year. Believing in its firm role in spreading the values of compassion and humanity, caring for young people, and building their moral and humanitarian awareness, based on the message of the true religion, which gives the child special attention in education, upbringing and protecting his rights.
The Ministry affirmed that caring for children is a shared responsibility between the family and educational, religious and community institutions, and that caring for the child is an investment in the future of the nation, and building a generation capable of contributing to its renaissance, realizing the value of work, commitment and respect. the other; Today’s children are tomorrow’s youth and the hope of the future.
As part of the continued interest in children, the Ministry issues “Al-Firdaws” magazine. for children; As one of the most important cultural platforms sponsored by the Ministry to serve young people, the magazine is an educational and cultural means directed at children, in which moral and ethical materials are presented in simple language and attractive drawings, which contributes to building the child’s awareness and developing his skills.
The magazine works in conjunction with the Ministry’s other programmes, such as: the weekly children’s meeting, methodological lessons, preachers’ convoys, seminars and meetings. Which is held by the Ministry in cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the Ministry of Education in institutes and schools, within the framework of the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative; To provide an integrated system of purposeful educational content, which establishes the values of compassion, belonging, and respect for the law, and instils in the hearts of children love of the homeland and an understanding of correct Islamic morals.
The Ministry also works to support initiatives to protect children from any forms of violence or exploitation, and to enhance family awareness of the foundations of sound education, stressing that building children is the cornerstone of building a strong and cohesive society.
The Ministry of Endowments called on everyone to make this occasion an incentive to enhance interest in children and provide a safe, supportive environment. For his rights, and joint work to raise a good generation, upright in its morals, aware of the value of its country, and believing in its duties towards it.
