“Victory Team” wins the first race in the Kuwait Grand Prix “XCAT”

The Victory Team 7 boat, led by the duo Salem Al-Adidi and Issa Al Ali, won the first race title in the Kuwait Grand Prix for powerboats in the “X-CAT” category, in a distinguished start during which the team continued its leadership in the 2025 World Championship.

The Victory Team 7 boat finished the race, which was held today, Thursday, with a time of 33:13.65 minutes, ahead of the Kuwait Team 17 boat, which came in second place, with a difference of 1:06.06 minutes, and the Britain 8 boat, with a difference of 1:20.65 minutes.

The Victory Team’s readiness appeared since the morning, when it led the first official training sessions and achieved the fastest lap time of 2.32 minutes, before starting with the fourth best time from the second gate according to the starting position classification. However, the duo Salem Al-Adidi and Issa Al Ali continued to put pressure during the race, and took advantage of the decline of the Sharjah 9 boat, due to a technical malfunction, to start at the top of the first race and secure the victory.

The “Victory Team” strengthened its position at the top of the overall standings of the World Championship, after raising its score to 100 points, benefiting from obtaining 35 points by coming in first place in the first race, followed by the British team in second place with 82 points, and the Kuwait team in third place with 66 points.
