Dubai Residency celebrates Omanis arriving through the Hatta port and Dubai International Airport

Coinciding with the United Arab Emirates’ celebrations of the deep-rooted fraternal relations with the Sultanate of Oman, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai participated in the celebrations dedicated to welcoming Omani brothers coming to the country through the Hatta border port and Dubai International Airport, with a special initiative that carried the spirit of love that unites the two peoples. The reception included a commemorative stamp on passports and the presentation of symbolic gifts expressing appreciation for this dear national occasion.

From this standpoint, which places people at the heart of the experience, Dubai was keen that these celebratory moments reflect the country’s model of good reception and quality of services, in line with the role that the United Arab Emirates plays in strengthening Gulf ties and consolidating the values ​​of brotherhood. Participation in these events was in the presence of Major General Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, Director General of the Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority, Brigadier Nabil Mohammed Al Gergawi, Deputy Assistant Director General for Sea and Land Ports Affairs, and Colonel Dr. Rashid Obaid Al Ketbi, Director of the Land Ports Passport Control Department, along with a number of leaders and employees who participated in presenting gifts and receiving visitors in an atmosphere that expresses the warmth of the relationship between the two countries.

On this occasion, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, stressed that celebrating the Omani brothers reflects the status of the historical relations between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman, noting that “what brings the two countries together is not just borders, but rather fraternal ties that extend throughout history, and we are keen on every occasion to express them in a manner befitting the values ​​of our country.” His Excellency added: “The entry system in Dubai is part of the image of the Emirates, and it is our responsibility for every guest to have an experience that leaves a positive impact from the first moment.”

With this celebration, Dubai Residency renews its commitment to its role in providing entry experiences that raise travelers’ expectations, reflects the bright image of the United Arab Emirates as a country that puts people at the forefront of its concerns, and continues to strengthen Gulf ties in a spirit that resembles and expresses it.
