Urgent.. The Minister of Education decides to place an international school under financial and administrative supervision and management by the Ministry

Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, followed with great precision and diligence all the details of the inhumane incident witnessed by Seeds International School in Cairo towards a number of our students. The findings of the Ministerial Committee’s investigations into the circumstances of the incident, which are currently under investigation by the Public Prosecution, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif issued the following decisions:

– Placing the school under financial and administrative supervision and taking it over for full administrative and financial management by the Ministry.

– Referring officials who were proven to be involved in a cover-up or gross negligence in protecting students at the school for affairs

In this context, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif said: “There is no crime more cruel than extending a hand to a child. Our children are a trust in our hands, and protecting them is a duty that cannot be tolerated. Any school that does not adhere to safety and security standards and does not protect the rights of our children does not deserve to be part of the Egyptian educational system, and measures will be taken against it.” A deterrent.

The Minister stressed that any harm to one of our children is an unforgivable crime and the priority of dealing with it precedes any educational matter, as preserving the dignity and safety of children and protecting them is preserving the entire nation.
