initiative "Correct your concepts".. "Giza Endowments" Organize a symposium on "Neighbor’s right"

The Giza Endowments Directorate, in cooperation with the Public Library of Egypt, organized a religious educational symposium entitled: “The Right of the Neighbor,” within the activities of the ministerial initiative “Correct Your Concepts,” and under the patronage of Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and under the supervision of Sheikh Khaled Khidr, Director of the Directorate, and within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to spread community awareness and promote moral values.

The symposium reviewed The status of the neighbor in Islamic legislation, emphasizing that kindness to the neighbor is an integral part of the system of values established by Sharia law, and that good treatment of him is considered a manifestation of faith, as made clear by the Qur’anic texts and the Sunnah of the Prophet calling for consideration for the neighbor and the preservation of his rights, which confirms its importance in enhancing social cohesion.

The symposium touched on practical aspects of neighborly rights, which included good treatment, supporting the neighbor when needed, and compassionate participation in occasions, with Alerting to the effects of verbal or behavioral abuse on the unity of society and the cohesion of its members.

The symposium witnessed positive interaction from the attendees, who praised the awareness-raising role of the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative. In correcting misconceptions and motivating young people to adhere to moral values ​​and positive behaviors, in a way that enhances belonging and societal responsibility.

This event comes within a series of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote religious culture and social awareness, and to consolidate the concept of neighborliness as an established moral value in Egyptian society.
