Furjan Dubai releases the song “Emirati My Country” to celebrate the 54th Federation Day

The Farjan Dubai Foundation launched a new patriotic song entitled “Emirati… My Country” to celebrate the 54th Union Day, in an artistic work that embodies the spirit of union and celebrates the values of love and belonging that distinguish the UAE. The song presents a lyrical narration that takes the listener on a journey through the emirates of the country and its rulers, evoking bright stations in the process of construction and prosperity, in a melody that carries a warm national character and is close to the people.
The song, which is written by the poet Hassan Al-Obaidly, composed by the artist Sharifa Ahmed, and performed by the Emirates Choir and designed and directed by Fatima Adnan, is an artistic documentation that expresses the pride of the Emirati society in its wise leadership, and presents a vivid picture of a country founded on union and which has become a global model of tolerance and progress.
The lyrics of the work carry clear references to the country’s emirates, landmarks and leaders, which turns the song into a national painting that highlights the Emirati identity in a contemporary and proud spirit.
Furjan Dubai produced the song specifically to coincide with the Union Day celebrations, emphasizing its role in supporting national content and highlighting Emirati stories written by society and for society.
Through its verses, the song tells the story of a nation whose ambitions have extended from its founding to space, rooted in the legacy of the founding fathers, and extending toward a future led by knowledge, innovation, and successive achievements.
Alia Al Shamlan, Director of Furjan Dubai, said: “At Furjan Dubai, we view the national song as a space to express the shared memory among the people of this country, and a means of reviving the ties that bring together neighbours, families and communities. The production of “Emirati… My Country” came to express this deep feeling and present a work of art vibrant with love and belonging.”
She added: “In the song, we relied on a narrative that tells the story of the UAE through its seven emirates, and on the spirit of love that the founding fathers established in our nation, which has always created the most beautiful stories. We sought, through the words, melodies, and performance of the Emirates Choir, to present a work that conveys the feeling of the citizen as he celebrates his homeland and raises his flag high on every occasion.”
She expressed the hope that the song would become part of the memory of the Union Day celebration, and that its message would reach every child, youth, and family, so that every individual would feel that the UAE is a homeland that unites them and provides them with strength and hope, calling on schools and communities to participate, re-present it, and integrate it into their activities, so that it remains a symbol of pride, unity, and Emirati identity.
