The second stage of the Coffee Table and Domino League Championship begins in Cairo and Giza

The Egyptian Federation for Entertainment Games announced the launch of the second phase of the Coffee Table and Domino League Championship in Cairo and Giza Governorates, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and under the directives of His Excellency the Minister, Professor Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, as part of the Ministry’s plan to support community sports and expand the base of practitioners of recreational activities.

 

This tournament, with prizes worth 250 thousand pounds, comes as one of the largest community events that aim to integrate groups of people. A wide audience within a sophisticated competitive framework that enhances the spirit of participation and convergence within popular neighborhoods and coffee shops, within the framework of the Ministry’s vision to spread the culture of sports to all and transform traditional social spaces into platforms for sporting activity.

 

Dr. Ahmed Al-Bakry, President of the Egyptian Federation for Entertainment Games, confirmed that the launch of the second phase in Cairo and Giza comes as a culmination of the great success achieved by the tournament in its first phase, indicating that the increasing public turnout reflects the importance of the societal role of the tournament. And its value in creating a positive competitive environment within society.

 

Al-Bakri added: "We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister, Professor Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, for his continued support for the Federation, and his confidence in plans to develop recreational games as an essential element in community sports. This support was the main reason for the Federation’s ability to implement a tournament of this size and spread.”

 

The activities of the second stage will continue over the coming weeks in a large number of cafes and popular centers, in preparation for the winners’ qualification to the final rounds at the republic level.
