المملكة: Urgent: The effects of the Ethiopian volcano are far from the Kingdom… and “meteorology” is monitoring the movement of ash in the upper layers

He explained that the movement of winds in the upper layers of the atmosphere pushes these raised masses away from Saudi airspace.
The Center stressed that the weather situation is stable and safe, and does not pose any concerns for air traffic within the Kingdom’s airspace or for maritime navigation, with continued close monitoring through numerical models and satellite images to monitor the movement and spread of volcanic ash.
In this context, the weather analyst at the National Center explained Meteorologist Aqeel Al-Aqeel said: The dust raised by this
The volcano rose to the upper layers of the atmosphere, and because the prevailing winds in this region are westerly, this dust accompanying this eruption moved towards the south of the Arabian Peninsula, and affected the state of Yemen. The effect will always be in the upper layers of the atmosphere and is specific to commercial aircraft.
With regard to the Kingdom’s airspace, there is no clear and noticeable effect, God Almighty willing, on the Kingdom’s airspace. The National Center of Meteorology has monitored the movement of this dust in the upper layers of the atmosphere, and there are warnings that will be issued if there is an impact, especially on commercial aviation, but the impact is always on commercial aviation at altitudes between 30 to 35-36 thousand feet, and there is no direct impact on the Kingdom’s atmosphere.
Also with regard to maritime navigation, there are no impacts on maritime navigation; Because this dust rises to the upper layers of the atmosphere, and until this moment it clearly affects the upper layers of the atmosphere. The movement of the wind helped spread these plankton and significantly reduce their impact.”
