Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government anticipates future training needs with artificial intelligence

Dubai, November 25 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government organized a practical laboratory entitled “Anticipating future training needs with artificial intelligence, designing a flexible and intelligent training plan that enhances readiness for the year 2026,” at its headquarters in the City Walk area, as part of its efforts to enable government agencies to anticipate technical transformations and enhance the readiness of national competencies for the requirements of the next stage.
This laboratory is the first of its kind in the Arab world to integrate analytical and generative artificial intelligence into the design of future training plans and programs. It targeted managers and heads of training and development departments and members of planning and qualification teams.
It witnessed the provision of applied workshops managed by a team of experts specialized in training, data analysis, and skills development, which allowed for the exchange of experiences and the generation of applied solutions within the participating institutions.
His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of the college, said that the laboratory embodies the proactive approach adopted by the college in building the capabilities of the government sector by combining methodologies for anticipating the future and applications of artificial intelligence to enable institutions to design effective training plans capable of facing the challenges of 2026 and beyond.
He added that the experience contributes to enhancing the flexibility of institutions, supporting evidence-based decision-making, and establishing a sustainable learning environment that enhances the readiness of national cadres in line with the college’s academic strategy and its approach inspired by the thought of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him” in government administration.
The laboratory adopted the Educational Innovation Laboratory methodology based on participation, experimentation, and joint design by integrating artificial intelligence with labor market expectations and emerging technologies to enhance participants’ ability to formulate smarter future plans that keep pace with digital transformation.
The laboratory produced practical results that supported the 2026 plan, and included a map of current capabilities and skill gaps, identifying future competencies, designing a smart training plan model supported by data analysis, in addition to development recommendations that enhance the sustainable institutional learning system.
