Khatib said The Grand Mosque, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, said that the month of Ramadan is not only a month of diligence in obedience, but rather a source of inspiration and creating a sustainable impact throughout the year, as it is a comprehensive program for ambitious individuals and the Muslim family.
He stressed that the blessed month is a comprehensive way of life and an integrated educational approach, as it is a season of renewal and change for the better in all areas of life, and it is an inspiring act of worship whose impact remains in this world and the hereafter.
He called for preserving fasting by giving the reins of reason and piety. For the limbs, to protect oneself from fasting, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him "Fasting is a shield by which a servant will protect himself from Hell".
