The One Billion Followers Summit and the TikTok platform announced a partnership to launch the first edition of the “Educational Content Creators Award,” the first initiative of its kind in the world, which celebrates content creators who are reinventing online learning methods.

They also announced that participation is open for content makers from the Middle East, North Africa, Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America from yesterday until December 21, by showcasing educational content that inspires their communities and makes a tangible impact on the ground.

The award will be held within the activities of the fourth edition of the One Billion Followers Summit, the largest global summit in the content industry economy, which is organized by the UAE Government Media Office, from January 9 to 11, 2026 in the Emirates Towers, the Dubai International Financial Center, and the Museum of the Future, under the slogan “Purposeful Content.”

The award called on content makers from around the world to publish educational and entertaining content that contributes to making learning accessible to everyone, through the “TikTok” platform, which seeks to empower content makers to transform knowledge into a means of inspiration, starting from history lessons and life skills advice, through science, technology, engineering and mathematics experiments, to entrepreneurship advice.

Three finalists will be selected and the summit will invite them to attend its activities in Dubai. The winner will be announced on January 10, 2026 and will receive a financial prize from the One Billion Followers Summit amounting to $100,000, in recognition of his contribution to enhancing global learning efforts.
