“Mohammed bin Rashid Initiatives” covers tuition fees for 400 male and female students in private schools in Dubai.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation, announced that it will sponsor the payment of tuition fees for more than 400 male and female students from various educational levels in private charitable schools in Dubai for the academic year 2025-2026.

Payment of tuition fees for hundreds of students comes in the context of the Foundation’s efforts to reduce the financial burdens on parents and is consistent with its mission and plans since its launch in 2015 to support education and enable students to continue their academic achievement, considering education as the first and last pillar in building societies and achieving sustainable development, which is what the Initiatives Foundation has translated through dozens of specific programs and projects to provide an exemplary educational and knowledge environment.

The new contribution provided by the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives”, which the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation delivered directly to school administrations, represents an important addition to supporting the educational process and a qualitative development of mechanisms for providing support that ensures achieving the maximum benefit for students, including the group of people of determination, in the fastest possible way, in a way that doubles the stability and psychological comfort of needy students and their families, and enables schools to perform their role to the fullest.

Dr. Fawzan Al-Khalidi, Director of Programs and Initiatives Department at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, confirmed that the Initiatives Foundation is sponsoring the payment of school fees for more than 400 male and female students in private charitable schools in Dubai, which expresses its permanent commitment to supporting education and providing all students with the opportunity to obtain the best conditions to continue their education, hone their abilities, and overcome any challenges related to the financial aspect.

He said that this new support for male and female students through the payment of school dues embodies the Initiative Foundation’s keenness to invest in the rising generations, help all students complete their educational journey, and provide every possible financial contribution that eases the burden on their families and gives them reassurance about their children’s present and future.

For his part, Abdullah Dhaen Al Ketbi, Director of the Community Support Department at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation, said that completing the payment of school fees owed to more than 400 male and female students is an important step to support the educational process and stand by the students and their parents in an innovative and smooth way by paying all installments directly to school administrations, which created great relief for the families of needy students.

Abdullah Dhaen Al Ketbi noted the importance of this initiative in encouraging students to make more efforts to achieve excellence and motivating institutions and white-collar workers in UAE society to continue their effective role in providing the requirements for financial and psychological success for male and female students.

It is noteworthy that the total volume of spending by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, the largest of its kind in the region in the field of charitable, humanitarian, relief and community work, amounted to more than 2.2 billion dirhams in the year 2024, benefiting about 149 million people in 118 countries around the world within five main work axes: humanitarian and relief aid, health care, combating disease, spreading education and knowledge, innovating the future, leadership and empowering communities.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation was launched in 2015 to be an umbrella for the various initiatives and institutions sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, over a period of more than twenty years.
