Voters continue to arrive in the Maadi, Dar Al Salam and Al Basateen committees in the House of Representatives elections
The polling stations in the areas of Maadi, Dar es Salaam, and Al-Basateen witnessed a continued influx of voters in the middle of the election day, with the completion of voting work on the second day of the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, amid the regularity of the electoral process and an intense security presence to facilitate movement in and out.
In Maadi, the Maadi Gardens Official School Committee continued to receive voters at a stable pace, with regular lines of citizens in front of the committees. In Al-Basateen, the Joint Al-Basateen Modern School Committee witnessed remarkable activity during the mid-day hours. One of the citizens explained, saying: “I chose to come during this period because the world is calmer… and every step in voting is clear and there is no delay.”
As for Dar es Salaam, the Dar es Salaam Preparatory School Committee for Boys recorded an increasing attendance of parents at midday. One of the voters said: “I went out after work…thank God, the procedures are smooth and participation is important for every one of us.” While one voter pointed out, “High security and good organization within and around the committee.”
