The President of the State discusses with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Kuwait the importance of supporting joint Gulf action

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the sisterly State of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.

During the meeting that took place at Al Bahr Palace in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Al Sabah conveyed to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan the greetings of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and his wishes for the UAE to continue progress and prosperity.

He also conveyed the thanks of the Emir of Kuwait to His Highness the President of the State and his appreciation for His Highness’s initiative to celebrate the established historical Emirati-Kuwaiti relations starting on the twenty-ninth of next January, praising the close fraternal ties it embodies between the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

While His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed to Sheikh Al Sabah his greetings to his brother, His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, and his best wishes for his country and its brotherly people further development and prosperity under his wise leadership.

The meeting touched on the fraternal ties that bring together the UAE and Kuwait and the development of joint work in all aspects that serve their interests and contribute to achieving the aspirations of their people towards development and prosperity.

He also addressed the importance of supporting joint Gulf action to achieve the interests of all Gulf Cooperation Council countries and their peoples.

The meeting was attended by a number of Their Highnesses Sheikhs and senior officials.
