The UAE Ambassador presents his letter of credence to the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

JEDDAH, 26 November / WAM / His Excellency Matar Salem Maran Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, presented his letter of credence to His Excellency Hussein Ibrahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, at the headquarters of the Organization’s General Secretariat in Jeddah.
During the meeting, His Excellency conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, to His Excellency, stressing the UAE’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and to support the pivotal role it plays in dealing with all issues.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his wishes to the government and people of the UAE for continued progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the UAE on issues of common interest.
