Signing important ministerial and strategic cooperation protocols at the annual health care forum

The General Health Care Authority, headed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, signed four ministerial and strategic cooperation protocols with a group of government institutions, to enhance integration between the health sector and the authorities concerned with technical, technical and service support, and the development of the health care system in Egypt, within the activities of the Authority’s sixth annual international forum.
The Authority indicated that the broad cooperation with state institutions aims to support environmental sustainability, Developing society, empowering youth, advancing innovation and scientific research, and deepening the national industry within the health sector, in a way that enhances the quality of services provided to citizens.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, stressed that the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry and the General Authority for Health Care reflects the state’s vision of building a conscious generation that possesses health and physical fitness and realizes the importance of its role as a major partner in building the Egyptian human being. He explained that the Ministry attaches great importance to supporting health initiatives that contribute to spreading awareness among young people, noting that cooperation with the Health Care Authority enhances integration between state institutions in supporting youth, empowering them and developing their capabilities in line with the goals of the new republic.
Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development and Acting Minister of the Environment, also confirmed that close cooperation with the General Authority for Health Care embodies the state’s approach in integrating government policies to achieve sustainable development and enhance environmental governance in various areas. Sectors.
She indicated that the role played by the Authority in integrating environmental frameworks within the health sector is in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, and reflects advanced institutional awareness of the importance of managing resources sustainably to ensure safe health services and a better quality of life for future generations, pointing out that the state’s support for the health sector is integrated with efforts to confront climate change and achieve sustainability.
Major General Staff Engineer Mukhtar Abdel Latif, President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, confirmed that cooperation with The General Authority for Health Care comes within the framework of the state’s drive to deepen the national industry in the field of medical technology, noting that the Arab Organization for Industrialization sees this cooperation as an important lever for building technical and industrial capabilities capable of competing regionally and internationally. Al-Ahly, former Minister of Immigration, said that the cooperation protocol with the Health Care Authority represents an important step to strengthen social protection networks and support the state’s efforts in caring for the most needy groups. Effective, especially in the areas most in need, in line with the state’s trends towards achieving health justice and consolidating the principles of “a decent life.” On the ground.
The signing of all protocols was witnessed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Head of the Health Care Authority, and the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Minister of Local Development, the Acting Minister of the Environment, the President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and the Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance for Civil Action witnessed the signing of the relevant protocols, in a step that reflects high government coordination and full institutional support to expand national partnerships and enhance joint efforts to develop the health sector.
The cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Youth and Sports was signed by Major General Ihab Bashir, Permanent Undersecretary For the Ministry, and Dr. Amir Al-Talwani, Executive Director of the Authority, with the aim of implementing the “Sports Heart” initiative. And providing the necessary places for its implementation, including youth learning and innovation centers, youth and sports development centers, and sports centers for sports training.
The tripartite protocol was signed between the Environmental Affairs Agency, the Waste Management Regulatory Authority, and the Public Authority for Health Care, with the CEO of the Environmental Affairs Authority, Dr. Ali Abu Sinna, and the CEO of the Waste Management Regulatory Authority, Yasser Abdullah, while the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Hani Rashid, signed for the Authority. The protocol aims to provide technical and scientific support to the Authority in the areas of environmental mitigation and adaptation, and to provide experts and specialists to prepare environmental policies and strategies within the health sector, in a way that enhances the integration of the health sector into national plans to adapt to climate change until the year 2050.
As for the cooperation protocol with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, it was signed by Major General Eng. Abdul Rahman Abdul Azim Othman, Director General of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Dr. Amir Al-Talwani from the General Authority for Health Care, and includes providing training programs for technical personnel. And the Medical Department aims to use and maintain locally manufactured medical products and devices, organize workshops and seminars in the areas of quality and supply chain management, as well as support scientific research efforts to develop prototypes of new medical products and help localize them.
He also signed a cooperation protocol with the “Decent Life” Foundation. Both Dr. Marwa Fakhri Hegazy, Executive Director of the Foundation, and Dr. Amir Al-Talwani on behalf of the Authority, and the cooperation includes improving aspects of therapeutic care services in coordination with civil society organizations and relevant governmental and non-governmental agencies, in addition to cooperation at the level of medical departments and surgical cases in hospitals affiliated with the Authority, as well as cooperation with academic bodies.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki stressed, at the conclusion of the statement, that the signing of these protocols reflects the Authority’s keenness to enhance cooperation between the various governmental, private and civil sectors, and to invest expertise and institutions to achieve the highest quality standards in health services, stressing that the integration of government work is the basis for achieving sustainable development and the goals of the comprehensive health insurance system to ensure integrated health care for citizens and support Egypt’s 2030 vision for sustainable development.
He also stressed that the protocols will contribute to developing the services provided, supporting environmental sustainability, and enhancing the role of youth in community initiatives, in addition to supporting innovation and scientific research in the health sector.
It is worth noting the launch of the sixth annual international forum of the General Authority for Health Care, coinciding with the passage of Six years have passed since President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi launched the comprehensive health insurance system in Port Said Governorate on November 26, 2019. This year, the forum will be held under the patronage and presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, under the slogan “From vision to expansion: We raise health care to international standards,” over the course of two days, November 26 and 27, 2025 in the capital.
