المملكة: “Sandy” Al-Ahsa… the first family carnival for beach sports in the Kingdom
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr inaugurated Governor of Al-Ahsa “sand” event on the banks of Al-Uqair Beach, announcing the launch of the first family festival specialized in Saudi Football Federation, to provide an integrated sports tourism product that enhances the attractiveness of coastal destinations in the Eastern Province.

During a field tour at the event site, His Highness was briefed on the integrated equipment for the event, which transformed the sands of Al Uqair into an interactive arena that includes live music performances, windsurfing competitions, and competitions designed to include all family members.
And in his statement on the sidelines During the inauguration, Prince Saud bin Talal described Al-Uqair Beach as a “national memory and historical port” that has been linked to the backbone of the Saudi economy since ancient times, stressing that work is underway to transform it into a sustainable destination that merges the scent of history with the spirit of modernity.

His Highness linked this accelerated development movement to the support of the wise leadership and the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, stressing that “Al-Uqair Winter” is not just events. It is fleeting, but rather a tributary to enhance tourism investment and raise the quality of life for the residents and visitors of the governorate.
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the supporting parties that contributed to the production of this event in a manner befitting the status of Al-Ahsa, while the season’s activities continue across the “Malibu” and “Bluqit” beaches, providing an integrated recreation experience in an environment that combines pristine nature and advanced services.
