40 thousand tons of general and miscellaneous goods were handled at the Red Sea ports
The media center of the Red Sea Ports Authority announced that the total number of ships present on the authority’s ports was (12) ships, and 40,000 tons of goods, 470 trucks, and 160 cars were handled, and the authority’s ports recorded the arrival and departure of 3,900 passengers at their ports.
The authority stated – in a statement today, Wednesday, that the import movement included 34,000 tons of goods and 175 trucks. And 145 cars, while the export movement included 6 thousand tons of goods, 295 trucks and 15 cars.
She indicated that the port of Safaga witnessed today the reception of the ship INLACO EXPRESS with 32 thousand tons of aluminum on board coming from India. The port also received three ships (PAN LILY, Alcudia Express and Freedom), while the two ships (Priedg and Amal) left it, while the port of Nuweiba witnessed trading. (2300) tons of goods and (270) trucks through shuttle trips for the two ships (Al-Hussein and Ayla).
