Sharjah goalkeeper Adel Al Hosani was called up to the UAE national team participating in the Arab Cup

The technical staff of the UAE national team, led by Romanian coach Cosmin, decided to call up Sharjah goalkeeper Adel Al Hosani to the team roster that will participate in the Arab Cup, which will be held in Qatar next December.
Today, Wednesday, the first national football team launched a short camp in Dubai with the participation of 22 players out of 24, with Al-Wasl players, Ali Saleh and Nicholas Jimenez, joining the camp after the end of their participation with Al-Wasl, which today plays a match against the Iranian Esteghlal team in the AFC Champions Club League.
The camp is part of the team’s preparations program to travel to Doha the day after tomorrow to participate in the 2025 Arab Cup, scheduled for the period from December 1 to 18, where Al-Abyad will play in the third group alongside Egypt, Jordan and Kuwait.
Today, the team will perform its first training session at the Dubai Police Officers Club Stadium, as part of comprehensive technical, physical and tactical preparations for the next match, which the team will open by meeting its Jordanian counterpart on December 3.
It is expected that the positive results of the Emirati teams in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League will give the players a great morale boost, after: Al-Sharjah achieved a historic victory over Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia with an unanswered goal scored by Othman Kamara, while Shabab Al-Ahly achieved an important victory over Al-Gharafa of Qatar with two unanswered goals, while Al-Wahda achieved a major victory over Al-Sadd of Qatar by three goals to one.
