Two National Guard members injured in shooting near the White House were killed


The Governor of West Virginia announced that the two members of the National Guard who were shot on Wednesday near the White House have died. They were among the forces deployed in the US capital by order of President Donald Trump.
Governor Patrick Morrisey wrote on the X platform. "It is with deep sorrow that we confirm that the two members of the West Virginia National Guard who were shot in Washington, D.C., earlier today have succumbed to their wounds."adding that "These two brave citizens of West Virginia lost their lives while serving their country".
