Captain of Physiotherapy: We are ready to provide the best rehabilitation protocols in the second stage of comprehensive health insurance

Dr. Sami Saad, General Captain of Physiotherapy, confirmed that the comprehensive health insurance system represents a historic achievement and an unprecedented cultural shift, noting that the state has succeeded in translating the vision of the political leadership into a tangible reality that guarantees the dignity of the Egyptian patient.
This came on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the sixth annual forum of the General Authority for Health Care, which was launched in the New Administrative Capital this morning, under the slogan “From vision to expansion… we raise health care to standards.” “Global”, under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Chairman of the General Authority for Health Care.
Saad praised With the figures announced by the Prime Minister during the forum revealing the scale of achievement, most notably the provision of 100 million medical services to beneficiaries, with investments amounting to 53 billion pounds in the first phase, he stressed that these figures reflect a solid will to rebuild the health sector in accordance with the highest international quality standards.
The head of the Physiotherapy Syndicate said: "As one of the basic pillars of the medical system, we believe that integrated health service is only achieved through the collaboration of all specialties, and the role of physical therapy is pivotal in the stages of treatment. And rehabilitation to ensure that the citizen regains his motor and functional ability, which we have noticed great interest within the Authority’s hospitals.”
The head of the Physical Therapy Syndicate explained that the continued development and adoption of the latest clinical operating systems and health digitization within the Health Care Authority contributes to improving the quality of services, especially within the primary care units that provide 73% of the system’s services.
Regarding preparation for the second phase, for which the state has allocated investments worth 115 billion pounds, he announced Dr. Sami Saad expressed the full readiness of physical therapy specialists and consultants to participate effectively in the six targeted governorates (Minya, Damietta, Kafr El-Sheikh, North Sinai, and Matrouh, as well as Alexandria.
"Saad" added: The Physical Therapy Syndicate puts all its scientific and professional capabilities at the disposal of the state and the Health Care Authority, to ensure the application of the latest international physical therapy protocols in primary care units and hospitals in the new governorates, in continuation of the success process that began from Port Said 6 years ago.
The head of the Physical Therapy Syndicate also thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who put the health of Egyptians at the top of his priorities, and Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky and the leaders of the Health Care Authority for their tireless efforts that made this dream a reality that we are proud of before the world.
