Today, the Prime Minister attends the Local Administration Reform and Empowerment Conference and chairs the weekly government meeting
Participate Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, this Thursday morning in “Reform and Empowerment of Local Administration” conference, in a hotel In the new capital, and talk about Lessons learned from the local development program in Upper Egypt, under the auspices and presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, with the participation of more than 300 officials and experts from Egypt and abroad, with the aim of supporting the path of decentralization and promoting sustainable local development.
The most prominent topics of the conference are Discussing the lessons learned from the first phase of the local development program in Upper Egypt with the support of the World Bank. It presented the program’s achievements in developing the local planning system and moving to management by results. And discussed mechanisms for expanding the experience to include various governorates to enhance local governance and economic and regional development.
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly also holds the weekly government meeting to follow up on the political, economic, social and cultural files and discuss the various ministries’ reports on the projects being implemented. The weekly government meeting also addresses the Prime Minister’s tour in South Africa to attend the G20 summit on behalf of the president, in addition to his trip to Bangula to attend the ninth summit between the European Union and Africa and holding several meetings with the participants in that meeting.
