Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police discusses cooperation with a company delegation "Hikvision" In security innovation
Ajman, November 27 / WAM / During the meeting held yesterday, His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, and a delegation from Hikvision, a global company specializing in artificial intelligence solutions and smart cities, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of security innovation and anticipating the future.
The meeting, which was held in the office of the Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police at the General Command headquarters, was attended by Colonel Hisham Abdullah Abu Shehab, Director of the Operations Department, and his deputy, Colonel Saeed Al-Madhani.
The visiting delegation was headed by Frank Zhang, President of Hikvision for the Middle East and Africa, accompanied by Aliat Pramod, Sales Director in the UAE, in addition to a number of engineers and officials in the company.
The two sides discussed the prospects for cooperation in employing the characteristics of artificial intelligence within smart systems and the security system, which contributes to raising security and traffic indicators, and enhances the position of the Emirate of Ajman as a smart city that relies on modern technologies to improve the quality of life.
His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief stressed that Ajman Police attaches great importance to building effective partnerships with international institutions specialized in modern technology, because of its pivotal role in enabling the General Command to adopt the latest innovative practices, and enhancing the ability to confront future security challenges through advanced technical solutions that support the development of the police work system and improve the quality of services provided to the public.
For their part, representatives of Hikvision praised the great development witnessed by Ajman Police in the areas of digital transformation and smart security, stressing their readiness to enhance aspects of cooperation and provide technical support in the coming stages to serve the common goals of both parties.
