Foreign Minister: No illegal immigrants have left Egyptian ports since 2016

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad held a press conference, with Hajja Habib of the European Commission for Equality and Crisis Management, today, Thursday, following a bilateral interview.

 

Dr. confirmed. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, stressed the Egyptian role in combating illegal immigration, and that since September 2016, not a single boat has left any of the Egyptian ports carrying illegal immigrants. In this regard, it was agreed to enhance cooperation between the two sides to open legal paths for regular immigration. We share the burdens resulting from these situations.
