"Kjok": The Ministry of Finance created a generation of competencies that believes in the importance of building and developing human capabilities
Ahmed Kachouk, Minister of Finance, stressed that there is a top priority during the next phase to enhance investment in the human element with innovative programmes, initiatives and ideas, pointing out that there is a great and different interest in training and qualification and improving the conditions of workers while ensuring the development of their performance to serve the economy and people.
Kacjok said, in an open dialogue with graduates of human cadre preparation initiatives working in the Ministry of Finance, that the Ministry has created a generation of competencies in all departments. And the sectors believe in the importance of building and developing human capabilities, adding: “I am very proud that I and my colleagues are first-line leaders in the Ministry of Finance and its interests are the fruits of the state’s investment in young leaders.”
The Minister addressed his speech to every distinguished person in any job grade, saying: “You are a leader in your place… and you have a great opportunity to improve and raise the efficiency of work and services, and that together we build a good mental image of the Ministry of Finance.” By extending a hand of support to all budgetary entities to play their role in serving citizens.”
He continued: “We work for the people… and our role is to work to improve their lives for the better as much as possible.” He stressed that the tax facilitation initiative provided a good model for the state of change that we seek for the benefit of the Egyptian business community and economy, as there are 400,000 who voluntarily closed old files and 650,000 who submitted new returns. Or adjusted for additional taxes of about 78 billion pounds, and a business volume of about one trillion pounds.
The minister stressed, “We are targeting a new tax facilitation package to serve the business community and deepen the principles of partnership with them.”
